I want to make the “smooth stronger” brush in lightbox as my default smoothing brush so that everytime I start ZbrushCore, I do not have to select it again from lightbox.
I tried selecting the brush in lightbox and saving my config file, but still ZbrushCore loads with the default smooth brush when I restart. How can I change the default brush on startup?
If you copy the brush file - Smooth Stronger.zbp - from the ZBrushCore/ZBrushes folder to the ZBrushCore/ZStartup/BrushPresets folder then it will be available each time you start the program.
I have the same question, as I’d like to change the default smooth brush to Smooth Stronger.
Macus’ suggestions brings it into the tools palette, but it still doesn’t change it so when you start ZBrush it’s your default smooth brush.
One thing I was thinking of doing is just copy/pasting the Smooth Stronger brush, changing it’s name to “Smooth”, and replace the original Smooth brush in the ZData/Brush Presets folder. But that seems a bit destructive.
Anybody have a better solution?
Nice trick DIGITALPOPS, we can change the intensity if we need less smoothness
