Newtek has their 64 bit upgrade available for all LW 8.0+ users.
Silo is updated to 1.4
Eovia’s Hexagon modeler has been released. $169 and $99 for cross grade.
Looks like their going after Silo. What ever happened to Clay…gee-wiz.
2 & 3 … I checked Silo and Hexagon out. I’m a Carrara4 owner, so on paper Hexagon would be marginally cheaper … until I spotted that they charge an extra 20% tax because they’re based in France! So, Silo wins on price for us Europeans. And then I saw the topology brush in Silo. Cool. So I coughed up for Silo. Still, at least it won’t break the bank to get Hexagon too at some stage. With Eovia’s reputation for releasing buggy products, it’s probably safest to wait for a bit anyway.
