Cenobite

Hey Guys

First post up of a WIP here. As the title suggests he’s going to be a Cenobite of my own design, on the image i’m posting theres a few problems as pointed out by a good friend Steve Egan, which I’ll address soon.

Base is done in maya then imported to Z for the sculpt and (when I get to it) the texturing!

Any crits and comments much appreciated.bits_06.jpg

I love the work so far, but I have a couple things to CnC.
His nose seems very very simplistic. It looks like a model out of Maya and then smoothed in Zbrush without any pushing or pulling :stuck_out_tongue:

The two chunks of the brain should be closer together I think. or the membrane that is in between should be there. Also his ears seem really smooth compared to the rest of his skin texture.

I love the mouth and sunken in cheek bones.

His eyes could be a bit more expressive though I think. probably a little more sunken in, to match his cheek bones.

just my 2cents.

Thanks Goast,

Yeah the nose, I meant for it to be like that, just to sort of take it away from the standard “human” look, might have a fiddle with it to define it a bit more. Yeah the ears havent been fiddled with as yet, and the eyes will get a tweek too.

Thanks

Steve

Hey Guys,

Bit of progress on this, worked on the back a little to get an overall feel to where its going.

Cheers

Steve

i’m not really sure which one it is? im not sure i saw cenobite with removed upper part of scull, or you making on your own?
anyway there is a long way to go but just keep making forms and detailing and in the end im sure you’ll make it!

try first work on forms and later on details…

keep it up!
