Celtic Knot

I imported the knot object from a program called Knots3d which can be found at: http://www.abbott.demon.co.uk/knots.html

I remember that program from a long time ago, W/O! They would be honored by what you’ve done with it… :+1: :+1: :+1:

Thanks Wingedone!!! I think I can put this to good use! :+1: :sunglasses: :+1:

I also remember this knot. The design is used in a lot of Scotish jewelry designs and wire wrapping items. Very nice work :ex: :ex: :ex:

man that was along time ago… very cool for bringing it back… and i agree with sc on this one… wow what a honor…

Winged One, I wrote Steve Abbott, referred him to your post, and got an answer this morning…He was indeed honored with what you did with his software! :+1: :+1: :+1:
Nice one, Bud!

Cool, I’m glad he liked it. I’ve always liked his program and that he’s still been maintaining and improving it. Maybe Steven Abbott will have a try at the ZBrush demo.

Winged One you totaly rock (For more reasons than this thread  )

I need to make some artwork like this, your link will help me out LOTS!!!

Just a quick note to 64bit users out there… it uses an older installer that dont know what Windows XP x64 looks like so it gives you a sour grapes nag screen and stopps install…

To install it boot into your 32bit partition, and point the installer at your 64bit partition (Program files (x86) dont put it into the 64 bit program files))

after you boot back into 64bit windows locate the EXE file on your hard disk, and make your start menu and desktop shortcuts… It should run just fine… any 16 bit VB recources will be found on your 32bit partition.

This program dont seem to run in linux under WINE… I am going to try some other install tweaks later this afternoon 8)

Thanks again for this thread Winged One! i am going to have fun with this Program :):+1:
