In the rough interior of this island these are the types of rocks, and very drought resistant plants that inhabit this area. The little soil which exists are in small pockets, in these pockets you will find these plants growing.
I hope these past few images will give you a small insight into the island paradise I call home.
It should also be evident, that the more I learn ZBrush, the more my style of painting has changed. I do not know if for better or not, The important thing is that I am having a lot of fun.
I like the direction your work is going in Joe…It’s gotten very painterly, and this is a painting program after all…The combination of your native landscapes, combined with the materials, tools, and flexibility of technique possible with ZBrush has proved to be a serendipitous combination in your capable hands!
The colour/material combos in this one are really fine!
Great image DV! So wet, alive, and growing!
another one I like…and the island you live on is Eden apparently…geeeez…and I agree, I like the exploration you are doing in the program. Things dont always have to look like a photograph to be beautiful or appreciated…
and your work is definitely beautiful and appeciated in this forum…though I find natural beauty around me right now in the area I live, your images give me something to look at besides dead leaves, mud and gray skies here in Clarksville right now…excellant escapism for me personally
thnx again,
Ron
