TheArtMonkeyThanks so much for your feedback, totally agree with the fold issue, i see a lot of reference to make the baggy look, but still fill unrealistic, i really need to improve my fold skills.
The Tyrh warrior project took me around 2 month, but i work on that during 2 years, this is a personal project for RPG game script that i am making, this is one of the main characters.
I think this was one of my biggest project and i wanted full of details, but at that time i didn´t know about Fur, make realistic shaders in arnold, ETC. So in the way i learn a lot with this character. One of the hardest part of this model was make the jugdment of technical aspect, How many Geo can handle?, how many UV layout?, Texture Size?, Bump or Normal Map?. How many maps?. how much details i apply to displacement?. So i trust on my self taught knowledge. But i hope next project i have a better result on the technical aspects, to not fail in small details.

Sick sculpt ! The details on the metallic armor and the red hair really make this pop forward. Great sense of depth field as well. I don’t have much to add except if you wanted to bring it to the next level, you could maybe add more contrasting lip and pore details to the face to catch some saucy highlights. I definitely will be following you on artstation.:sunglasses:small_orange_diamond:bulb:small_orange_diamond:D

Well guys here is the breakdown of the Uruk Fan Art, Thanks to everyone in Facebook for kind words. This Project was made mostly for fun, so i didn´t dig to much on refine every detail. For me is a Concept more than a portrait.

Alot of people ask me about the Render.
To achieve Photoreal look, first i search a Urukhai reference with a nice lightining. Then i start breaking the light on my head, like the Sun light coming from the left, the sky light coming from UP. Then with the light cap feature in Zbrush i start making this lights.
I made two shadow pass to have more control on the composition. Then with the SSS pass was very useful to make fresnel in the Hair.
And with the Reflection material from Zbrush is very nice to achieve that blueish tone that skin get from the Sky. Then with the reference on my side i start playing with the passes to achieve something close to it. So i hope this info is useful :smiley:

“What I am not sure about is the pose.
It is pretty much fashion model than knight.
She doesn’t look like she has a heavy sword in her hand.
Looks more like throwing a scarf over her shoulder.”
