I have a exr image exported from zbrush, which I tried to crop it in photoshop then saved as a new file, when I re-import the image into zbrush, it just turns into black, is there anything I did wrong in photoshop?

My first guess is make sure your that Photoshop doc is not 32 bits.
I did some test on this, a 32bit exr file exported from zbrush, and then opened it in photoshop cs6, make sure it’s 32bit per channel and saved right away,
.hdr works fine in zbrush, but no luck with exr format with every compress options, weird…
