Can't edit ZBrush movie?

Hello,

I’m trying to make a showreel for two of my models. I created a turntable in ZBrush which showed both models, and it only lets me export it as a MPG file. The video file is 30 seconds long and runs in Windows Media Player, but when I tried it in two video editors it only loads about 40 frames and then cuts the rest off.

I’ve been looking at different things but I’m not really sure what to do next.

Should I try and find another video editor that works with mpg files? Or should I try and find something for recording what’s on the screen while the turntable plays in ZBrush? I also tried converting it, but it lost too much quality.

See if this plugin by Marcus works for you. It will create an image for each frame that you can stitch together in your video editor. Most video editors will allow you to import image sequences. This way, you can get a high quality movie.

@zber2 Oh, that looks promising. Unfortunately both the links in the thread are dead. Any idea of where I could find it? I’ll try messaging him if not.
