Can't edit a mesh after multiple Projection Master edits

Greetings. I’ve had this happen twice in separate files and can’t seem to find the issue. In both projects I did used Projection Master several times and at some point during the process, Zbrush seems to have locked the mesh or the UI into a non-edit mode. The only thing I can do is transform the mesh or do additional Projection Master edits. I can also mask. I’ve not dropped a new mesh or saved it and opened it as a doc or anything like that. I can move through the subtools and everything as normal, but I cannot paint or sculpt the mesh in any way.

Any ideas?

There’s an issue with Projection Master and saving the project, or QuickSave which means that settings aren’t restored properly when picking up the model. I’m not exactly sure what is happening in your case. Often you can correct the problem by:

  1. Turning off Edit mode (hit T on the keyboard).
  2. Make sure the Zadd and Rgb buttons are on, and the Rgb Intensity and Z Intensity sliders are both at 100. (These are at the top of the interface or in the Draw palette.)
  3. Turn Edit back on.

Let me know if this helps, or showing some screengrabs of your ZBrush interface with the problem might help us solve it.
