Is the F10 key reserved for some special operation?
I’m trying to assign it as a custom shortcut but ZB doesn’t accept it… am I doing something wrong?

I think some of the keys simply will not work for some reason. F10 is not reserved for anything special, as far as I know.
Some keys are reserved and cannot be used to hotkey. Sadly on Mac OSX you can’t use any of the F (function) keys as Zbrush interprets all F key presses as one key.
