Cannot turn off Dynamic in Brush Size in 4r7 [Answered]

I had created a menu with submenus which included sizing my brush, but even on sizing above my document, the dynamic button does not seem to disable. The brush does not change size as it normally does when dynamic is disabled. Any suggestions? I am using 4R7 and am on a Macbook Pro laptop using Yosemite 10.10.2.

You have to hold down the shift key to switch off dynamic mode now.

Also note that dynamic mode is required for some tools, like ZModeler.

I signed in to mention the Dynamic button not working too, but then found this thread.

Thanks marcus, I was scanning through the doc’s yesterday and somehow missed it, painfully obvious and plain to see now though, I’ll try using my eyes next time.

I didn’t mean that to sound like a criticism. The online docs have plenty of room for improvement. But I do try to udate it with useful stuff when I can.
