I am learning ZBrush for the first time. I am trying to learn on UDEMY. When I was working on my project, for some reason I lost the ability to orbit around the ZBrush interface. I can only add stuff in but cant move around or delete stuff. In addition, the gizmo changed from having arrows and colors to being a blueish circle with a couple of lines. I want to change it back. I have tried uninstalling the software, and making new files, but nothing has changed. How do I get out of this so I can get back to work?

Did you leave 3D Edit mode? This is what happens when you are drawing out a mesh in 2.5D mode. In that mode you are drawing out 2D images of the mesh and the manipulator will switch to a more limited version. In this case you would need to draw out the mesh onto the canvas and before doing anything else enter Edit mode by pressing ‘T’, or activate the button on the interface.
