Can ZBrush V2021.5.1 files be opened by ZBrush V2021 ? I want to make sure my client will be able to open them and I’ve already removed the earlier 2021 versions from my computer. I could port the file over to 2020 if I have to.

Zbrush Project and Tool files created in ZBrush V2021.5.1 might be opened in zbrush 2021.5, but not in any other previous version of the program. This should always be assumed to be the case with any new release.
As usual, there’s typically no issue with export/importing a non-native format like OBJ.

Thank you. Do you know if there’s an earlier version of V2021 that I can download? They were probably at V2021.2 when they closed for vacation. If not I’ll port it over to V2020.4. It’s possible that they’ll be up to date by the time they ask for files but it’s probably better if I’m prepared tomorrow.

You would need to contact Pixologic Support to ask about legacy installers. The better scenario by far is that everyone upgrade to the most up to date version of ZBrush. This is free, only takes a minute, and obsolete versions are missing features and important fixes from the current version of the program.

Understood, but large corporations generally lag by several weeks when it comes to updates. Anyway I’ve ported the files over to an older version so I’m covered.
