Can you assign the touch strip to zoom on a Wacom Intuos or Cintiq in Zbrush ?

Hey, does anyone know if it is possible to assign the touch strip on a Wacom Intuos or Cintiq to zoom in Zbrush? I have gotten so use to using the Touch strip to zoom in painter and Photoshop, and I really miss it when I jump over to Zbrush. I Habitually run my Finger Up and Down the touch strip but to NO AVAIL!
And yes I have searched the forum and couldn’t find anything on this topic, there are millions of threads about witch tablet to buy and where or not you need a tablet and the blob issue that happens with intuos3.

I second that question, Is there any way to get zoom or scale to work with the touch strip?

Great idea Harmonic… I have never thought of that and I too find myself either using the scroll wheel or the touch strip with no reasoning behind my actions other than habit from other apps.

Escape

You can assign keystrokes to the touchstrip.

  • assign + (from the numeric keypad) to zoom your canvas in.
  • assign - (from the numeric keypad) to zoom your canvas out.
  • assign ] to increase the size of your brush.
  • assign [ to decrease the size of your brush.

These last two unfortunately have a redraw problem – the cursor disappears until you move the mouse again.

The touchstrip supports multiple keystrokes, though. So if anyone knows of an additional key which might force the cursor to re-draw, that can be easily added to solve this problem.
