Can someone show us a screenshot of the order screen that shows dowload link?

(UPDATE: Has anyone who ordered the CD received the download link and POP code?)

===========
:ex:
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT REVEAL THE DOWNLOAD LINK OR THE POP CODE!!!

Can someone show a screenshot of order screen that shows the downlod link.
Please hide the link and pop code.

I would like to know what it looked like to
help troubleshoot the problem with element.

If you got an email that revealed the download link and POP code, can you show
that too? AGAIN, Please erase the actual link and your POP code!

=======================
I have received an email from element showing
the order details but it only shows me
the CD order that was processed and not
the download link.

Thanks,
Dave

I never did recieve the link either. I ordered the backup CD so I figured that might be the holdup, but that didn’t quite seem right either.

THis is the mail I received from Pixologic. Link and code has been substituded with !!!

A. Brief information on product delivery

  1. Activate the product with the POP code:
    !!!

  2. Download the full version at: http://!!!

Please note that you will not receive a delivery by postal mail.

B. Details for product delivery for ZBrush - free upgrade

  1. POP code for activating the product

The following alphanumerical POP Code (Proof of Purchase) is required to
activate the product. Please do not lose the POP Code and the reference
number specified above, as you will be asked for them during the activation
process.

POP: !!!
This POP will activate 1 license(s)!

Notes for installation

The file that you will download is compressed and protected. In order to
use the program, you must first activate it.

Use the POP (Proof of Purchase) code given above exclusively on the
computer on which you want to use the product. Each time a program is
activated, it reduces the remaining quantity of licenses available.

Licensing:
The activation process of ZBrush - free upgrade creates an individualized
license file for your computer necessary for the program to function. This
license file will be saved automatically on your computer; the location of
this file will depend on the version and language of your operating system.

The file for Windows XP/2000 is located in: C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\element5\Licenses
For Windows 98 in C:\Windows\Profiles\All Users\Application
Data\element5\Licenses\

Be sure to create a back-up copy of the directory, including the license
file; otherwise, without a license file, a renewed activation will be
necessary.

You can renew the license file as often as you like, but only on the
computer on which the product was originally installed. For renewal, we
recommend activation via the Internet. When requested, enter the POP (Proof
of Purchase) code given above.

For using software with Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP: Please note that you
must be logged on with administrator privileges to install the software.

  1. Download the full version

You can download the product “ZBrush - free upgrade” at http://!!!

Sometimes particularly long links are divided across two lines in an e-mail
program - this means that clicking on the link will not always allow the
user to navigate to the correct Website. To ensure that the download page
can be accessed correctly, please highlight the entire link with your
mouse, right click, and then select “Copy”.

Instead of using your mouse, you can also copy the link by clicking “Ctrl”

  • “C” and then paste it using “Ctrl” + “V”.

Make sure that the link doesn’t contain any line breaks. Then paste the
entire link into the address bar of your Web browser and press enter.

The URL is valid until 15-APR-2004.

Chedri,

Thanks but that email is the first email you receive from Pixologic.

What I am talking about is the actual download link and the POP code you get after placing the order with element 5.

I got that same e-mail, but once you go to the link and go through that process there is supposed to be a magical POP code and link for the download. I think the problem lies in the ones who ordered the CD.

Edit :small_orange_diamond: :small_orange_diamond:Don’t I wish I had gotten that second e-mail.
  The wait continues. :stuck_out_tongue:

Chedri,
Please ignore my first response.

OK. I think what happened is that the system
only saw my CD order and did not process the download order. (Probably because on other, regular orders, it is either the download OR the CD order)

I did receive the same email you got from element 5 but here is my section A and B:

A. Brief information on product delivery

You will receive the full version on CD by postal mail.

B. Details for product delivery for ZBrush - free upgrade

Your order for ZBrush - free upgrade has been sent to production. The CD
will be created and sent to you via postal mail by the end of the next
business day.

====================

As you can see there is no mention of the download, only CD.

Thanks,
Dave

Is there a fix for this in progress DD? Those that ordered the CD should not have to wait for the CD. I thought it was a backup CD  :frowning: :frowning:

Yes, there is a resolution coming soon.
I have called them about what I noticed about
people who ordered the CD did not get the download link and POP code.

They noticed the same issue.

I’m expecting a call very soon from one of
the people (more than one!) that are working
on this.

Thanks Dave.

 GOOD NEWS
:frowning: BAD NEWS

GOOD NEWS
Element 5 was able to reprocess the order for
me.
Somehow, my order went through as a CD order only, which is not supposed to happen.

BAD NEWS
There is no generic fix available.
If you had the same problem as me
(went through as CD order and did not get
information for downloading)
then either call or email element 5 and
give them your current order number and a
copy of the email with the subject line
"Delivery information for ZBrush - free upgrade "
showing only a CD purchase and they can
then reprocess your order.

If you ordered the backup CD,
you should get two emails.

  1. This email has the subject line:
"Delivery information for ZBrush - free upgrade "
And it will show you the POP code and download link. It will also tell you that
your are not being sent a CD (Don’t worry about this).

  2. This email has the subject line:
“Delivery information for CD on Demand - ZBrush - free upgrade”
And it contains the information about the CD being sent to you.

=======================
I hope this helps, DMerchen.

If you did not get your order processed this
way (cd only no download info) or you did
not get a order confirmation email, then this resolution, unfortunately, does no apply to you.

Thanks,
Dave

I finally got my e-mail Their system showed that the e-mails were sent out, and she questioned me about accidentally deleting or having a filter on my system. I received the other three e-mails, so I don’t understand why that one wouldn’t go through. When she resent it, which was a huge feat in itself it came right through. I don’t think she totally believed me for some reason. Anyway, I have the information I need now. If anyone else has had this issue try contacting Element 5. Perhaps its just the Dave thing?
