The 4R8 backup disk is no longer available for sale. Since ZBrush 2018 was a free upgrade for all users, we have discontinued support for earlier versions.
Pixologic has never charged for an upgrade. If we didn’t discontinue support for earlier versions when a new free upgrade came out we would be in a position of having to try and support almost 20 years’ worth of versions.
Versions 3.5 and below are no longer supported at all. Versions 4 through 4R8 are on legacy support, meaning that their serial numbers and the activation system still work. However, we no longer provide technical support or the ability to get the installers.

have the Zbrush 2018 Backup CD started shipping yet?
Yes. But starting with ZBrush 2018 you can now download the installer at any time from My Licenses. You no longer need to keep your old download emails or have your link reset.
I just have to ask, why buy the disc when the download is free and possibly more up to date as well?
