Wondering if I skip a version of zbrush. Would I still be able to upgrade when the time come when it is worth it? Or would I need to pay full price when I skip versions?

I cannot speculate about the future, or whether there will be any upgrade path from ZBrush 2022 to versions of ZBrush beyond ZBrush 2023. It would be best to make your decisions based on the current information. If you would like to attempt to find a more specific answer you will need to contact Maxon Support, but nobody can guarantee you a future upgrade price.
