Can I import a .zpr file into my loaded .zpr file?

I worked on a project and then I put it aside and started working on another. Then I made it so it would work to put the previous file into the one I have loaded. I thought it would be easy because I never had problems merging in other programs, ie Maya. Any help with this would be good. Thanks.

By the way they both have multiple subtools that will require different materials.

You can’t import it directly but you can copy the model across:

  1. Load a project.
  2. Make sure the model you want is selected in the Tool palette and press Tool>Copy Tool. This copies the model, with all its subtools, into memory.
  3. Load the other project.
  4. Press Tool>Paste Tool.

If there are other models you can repeat the procedure. Because of the way materials work in ZBrush you may need to re-assign some materials.
