Camera Controls?

I’m trying to use the modeling tool and I cannot find out how to rotate the camera around the object and how to zoom in and out, can someone help me out? Thanks in advance.

There is no camera as such in Zbrush. But to view your object while modeling do the following.

  1. draw your object on the canvas and hit ‘t’ to enter edit mode.

  2. Click and drag outside the object to rotate it. Holding shift will snap the object to the nearest axis.

  3. Hold alt and click outside the object, release alt, and drag to zoom in and out.

  4. Enable Local in the Transform palette to center the rotation and zoom operation around the last edited vertice.

  5. Check the quicklinks. The Quick Reference Guides are good for getting a quick overview of Zbrush.

Hope that helps and welcome aboard

when I hit t nothing happens…

Choose your object in the tool palette. Click and drag on the canvas to draw it and hit ‘t’ to enter edit mode. Also make sure you are actually drawing a 3D tool on the canvas and not a 2.5d tool.
