Calling for 3d Printing Companies and Top Row Artists

Hello fellow Business Entrepreneurs and Artisans,

I am currently putting together a proposal for a series of monuments, and art related strategies to be done on the various Native American reservations and related Industries within the U.S.

I have put together a large lab with over $ 190,000.00 in the latest hardware and software for both the 2d and 3d industries

As a Native myself, I see a large opportunity within the field of Cultural Preservation and Economic Development, using Zbrush and 3d printing. I do understand the internal political structures and sensitivity that are indicative to Native Governments.

Having said that, I am seeking Quality companies and talented artists that may bring the proposed projects to fruition.

If I may be so bold, just look at the purchasing power of the Seminole and Navajo nations alone - that equals well over 1 Billion in assets, and the potential Investment backing alone should raise a serious eyebrow. My own tribe has a large electronics and manufacturing plant with well over a 500 employee capacity.

Should any of you have said contacts and Business plans please send me a private message. All contacts and info will be strictly confidential.

After the paperwork is done, all relevant contributors will be given a finders fee and royalties as per their documented contributions. Please understand that this process will take time, depending on the product and companies/Artisans involved.

Please feel free to post samples of 3d printing and your own work. Relevant samples may include Sculptures, Industrial art manufacturing, Jewelry and any other Zbrush/3d related areas that have market potential.

I would like this post to serve as a staging area for Companies and Artists that have an interest in collaborating for business and idea generation.

I would prefer that all art posts have some cultural persuasion - be it Native American or otherwise, with some examples / statement(s) of the target market.

Lets make some art and put some jingle in all our pockets!

Wow I thought my english was pretty good…but I guess not since I don’t understand one bit of your plan

Edit: Do you mean you want to create monuments as in statues? on American soil? or am I completely misunderstanding your message?

:+1:

please check you message box

He’s calling for interested parties to work on art / monuments with the clients being Native American Tribal governments. Sounded crystal clear to me.

Sounds like a great opportunity to produce some work of substance. Best of luck with your endeavor.

Thank you gentlemen for your interest.

To the companies and artists that have sent messages in private thank you for the interest and offers. I am currently swamped with immediate paperwork, in the administrative side of this post. i.e. questions that require business and contacts, product interest, who will handle what, what are the marketing obligations, who can pick up volume orders etc…

Until I get a better grasp of those questions, You will be put in a que of potential artists and aligned with the proper companies that can execute projects within their interest, and capabilities.

Please know that I have had high levels of interest by companies, some tribal executives, and a volume of hardware sales personnel. To those artists that expressed interest, I have reviewed your portfolios and am well pleased with your abilities. It would be better if you could perhaps define a starting point in the vast potential area’s of production.

Perhaps we can gain a better picture of 3d printing areas that are in current use, by making a list of those areas, followed by emerging potential areas (prototype machinery with a proven track record).

I admit I am not as well versed in the potentials as I could be, so feel free to post web sites as per your examples. What I do know, is that this market is expanding in leaps and bounds and that the smart people will be there to capitalize on those potentials.

From what I have seen, and heard from your private messages, is that those that have vision often lack the capital to bring those dreams to fruition. Please continue your interest and perhaps invite others with the talent necessary to effect your vision into solid form.

Together, I know that we have the networking capacity, it may start slowly, but I know that with a persistent effort you can make a job for yourselves and grow your job base/companies with the proper backing.

Thank you and keep posting as well as networking – finder fees - I am logging your referrals. Bear in mind your documentation requirements.

Hello all,

Since this is a new field of interest for me, I would like to know which process of printing, would lend itself to scaling up, in as far as prototyping and using the original mesh for scaling up.

I am aware that some types of prototypes may have textures and lines in the prototypes depending on the type of materials used. for example this company. http://crystallinemodels.com/gallery_8.html

That process may have artifacts from the printing itself, depending on the material. Could any of you further this discussion? I would like to know if there are any 3d printing methods that give a better finish, so that the end product does not have too much in the way of finishing.

I am interested in models that could go as high as 20 feet.

Here is a small survey that I have created for business development. Any suggestions for other pages?
