The sliders on on Z-Intensity, Draw Size and Focal Shift, can these sliders be custom adjusted with just using 2 keys for adjustments instead of using your mouse for the slider. It would be good if I could macro these adjustments on a Logitec G13 to get better precision on the adjustment and i think would be a lot more quicker, instead of fiddling with your mouse.
The Draw Size can already be adjusted using the bracket keys [ & ] and you can set the increment using the slider in the Zplugin>Misc Utilities sub-palette. For Focal Shift and Z Intensity you could try this plugin provided by Wyrdesigns:
Thats great Marcus thanks for this link and ur scripting knowledge. Do you think Ill be able to achieve what I need with this.:D
I’m afraid I don’t know what’s possible with the Logitec G13 so you’ll just have to try and see.
hey Marcus i think i buggerd the bracket keys [ ] for Brush size, they seemed to be locked, any way to fix this. I was messing around with settings in the Misc Utilities and they wont shift sizes now with just using the bracket [ ] keys.
Do you remember what the settings were before you played with them? You didn’t overwrite the hotkeys somehow?
Not sure what you may have done. Do the buttons work when you press them? If so, you probably need to re-assign the hotkeys. Just Ctrl+Alt+click on a button and then press the relevant hotkey.
yea but the slider uses 2 keys which are brackets, how do u assign 2 hot keys for 1 button.
No, the actual adjustment is done using the two buttons above the slider.
Ok i know what happend i think, i removed teh wrong plugin i think. I had added the plug in that u linked me but removed it or at least i thought i removed the correct one. How do i fix this.
Undo what you did and start over.
If undoing was that simple i would have done it. I should have made my self clear, this question is for Marcus.
Well, he answered. You never answered back that they did or didn’t work or that you’d reset the Hotkeys and all is now well.
I did mention what the problem was and now im waiting for hes reply, like i said my last question was directed to Marcus. Your input is not needed thanks.
Maybe you missed his answer. http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?191135-Button-Sliders&p=1121982&viewfull=1#post1121982
Doug stay out of the thread.
Not sure what you’ve done. If you followed the instructions for the plugin then you can’t have removed the brush buttons as that isn’t in the same location. You did install it in the ZBrush 4R6\ZStartup\ZPlugs folder?
Might be simplest to reinstall ZBrush if you can’t find what’s wrong.
yea i did put it into the Zplugs folder. Funny thing is its now working sliders move but i tried assigning short cuts for Zinten with ctrl+alt+7 and ctrl+alt+8 and it doesnt work weird stuff going on lol
Ok i know what i did wrong for Zintens not to work. I used numpad keys to adjust the sliders which didn’t work. I changed them to the regular number keys and Zintens now works along with Brush size. Thanks for your help Marcus.
Glad you got it working and thanks for mentioning about the Numpad as that could help others.
