Bug: don't disable stroke selection while in 2.5D mode

Hi gang!

I use the ZModeler brush a lot and couldn’t help notice that when this brush is enabled it automatically disables the stroke selection. While this is just fine in 3D mode it can quickly become an annoyance when you switched back into 2.5D mode.

I’m not sure if this is a known bug or glitch so I figured I’d mention it.

How to reproduce:

  • Add a figure to your document (either add the PolyMesh3D tool or just a primitive), then enable ‘Edit’ which will also enable brush selection.
  • Switch your brush to ZModeler by pressing: b,z,m. Notice how the stroke selection gets immediately disabled?
  • Turn off ‘Edit’.

So now you’re in 2.D mode but without the option to select a stroke, which is actually the most important thing while you’re in this mode.

The best way to solve this without any risk of disrupting your workflow: open the lightbox (press ‘,’), select the ‘brush’ section, open the ‘standard’ folder and then double click on the standard brush. You’ll notice that the stroke selector becomes immediately available.

Suggestion: Don’t disable the Stroke section when the Brush section itself is also already disabled. Or maybe… don’t allow the selection of the ZModeler brush to disable the Stroke selection in 2.5D mode.
