@Robowheels. I would just use ZModeler on a clyinder with Dynamic Subdiv turned on. This way when you slide any edges with ZModeler you will see the changes.
You can also use the Sweep3D primitive. Just add points in the graphs and move them around.
You can also use the CurveLathe brush.
Or you can put a smooth cylinder in Dynamesh mode and use Radial symmetry to sculpt the glass.
