Hello @JLEWIS,
Brushes will not appear in the program until they have been loaded into it, even if they have been assigned to a custom UI or menu. You can add custom brushes to the ZBrush startup folders (ZBrush 2022\ZStartup\BrushPresets) but this has performance implications for the program. My advice is not to do this until you are more familiar with the program and know what brushes you will be using all the time.
We recommend adding no more than 25 items per category (25 Brushes, 25 Materials, etc) to the ZBrush startup folders. This should be reserved for items you’ll be using every session. More situational brushes should be added to the Lightbox folders and loaded on demand.
Never add files to the ZData folder that were not already present unless directed to by ZBrush support staff. This can break your ZBrush installation.
This video describes how to create a custom menu.
