Is there a brush that will push/warp/nudge polypaint without affecting the geometry?
Standard brush make sure that you just enable MRGB, RGB or M and paint with it. Masking works really well for large areas. Set-up your material/color, then with areas you don’t want filled masked then fill object. Make sure Z intensity is off (neither add nor subtract).
Does the standard brush not simply lay down paint? I am looking for a tool which will let me adjust the placement of paint after it has been put onto the mesh. Like the nudge tool in Photoshop-
Not on a model as far as I know. You can smudge on the 2.5D canvas though.
If you use Projection Master, you can use the Smudge brush in the 2.5D tool palette.
