Brush - (CTRL Tooltips)

I am new so bear with me. Soaking up as much as I can in tutorials online and here on Pixologic offerings. The one thing that escapes me is why when I hover over a brush and hit control it just gives the expanded tooltip for the brush section instead of the brush I’m over. Is there any way to change this behavior? Even if I select a brush and hit control it just says “The brush pallete yaddy yaddy”

Sure would be nice to get tooltips that tell you what the massive collection of brushes actually do…

Am I missing something?

Any time you see a more general tool tip in place of one for the specific element you are over, it typically just means that a more specific tool-tip for that item does not exist.

If you can’t find an explanation for a brush in the documentation, by all means please feel free to ask here. This is something that other users would probably easily be able to help you with.
