Brush alpha blending(?)

Hi!

So i can’t seem to find a setting i’m pretty sure is in zbrush somewhere.

I would like have the standard brush, in combination with dragRect, to behave like the chisel with a morp target stored, meaning that with the standard brush, when i drag an alpha on a previously dragged alpha, it seems to multiply the depth of the 2, where as with a chisel brush, it doesnt multiply like that, but unfortunately it gives me some other quirks the standard brush doesn’t do, so i’d like to know where that switch is, kinda hard to explain so i added an image that will hopefully show what i mean.

Hello @Kevin_Beckers ,

You have a few different options here, but most only work with Layer or Chisel brush types.

  1. Storing a Morph Target for use with the Layer brush as you have already mentioned.

  2. Using the Lazy Mouse 2.0 features. See the “Non-Buildup of Overlapping Strokes” section.

  1. The Thickskin feature can be used to set a maximum elevation for any sculpting. This is the only feature that will work with the standard brush.

Good luck!
