Zbrush 2023.1.2 crashing when I open existing projects…anyone else have this issue?

Does the problem happen when you try to open any of the stock projects in Lightbox that come with ZBrush? For instance the dog.zpr? If it does then something may be faulty with your installation or their may be something in your OS environment like a security feature preventing the proper functioning of the program. ZBrush will crash for instance if anything prevents it from being able to read and write certain files at startup.
However, if it doesn’t happen with the stock projects and it only happens with your content, then the issue is likely to be with the file itself.
In either case you will need to contact Support for assistance. We can’t help you over the forums and other users probably can’t help you with system-specific technical problems.
