There are so many smart people in this forum that I’m sure someone has a solution.
I currently use IE 6 as my browser and there are times when I want to print out material from a web/forum site so that I can read it better or just read it at my leisure away from the computer.
For example, though the material at ZBrush Central is reasonably easy to read on line I’d like to print it sometimes without all the colored background (i.e. text in good old black and white and not wipe out my printer inks with all the color). Cutting and pasting into Word doesn’t do the trick since the colored background comes along with it.
Is anyone aware of either a technique to eliminate the colored background, to only capture the text and perhaps some selected images without headers, icons, etc or a utility which will permit you to strip out the non essentials?
Sometimes I find forums whose choice of colored backgrounds and text sizes make it nearly impossible to read the material even on line.
I use a product called Liquid Surf to boost item sizes on line and that helps the size problem but not the colored background problem.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
