ZBrushCentral

browser back button hijack

Why does ZBrushCentral keep hijacking the back button on my browser all the time. This is very annoying to say the least. Does anybody know what the reason for this is? What is it for? Who’s and what purpose does it serve?

Never noticed a problem here. I have seen errors where the box pops up saying something about not being able to verify stuff. It would depend on the URL you clicked on whether it would open in a new tab, no history in a new tab unless duplicated… Pixologics site uses PHP. There’s Facebook ties to the website. ASP and all that jazz.

Well, I was hoping somebody else has had this problem and found a solution. I guess not. I just find it strange that it only does it on ZBrushCentral and nowhere else. Thanks anyway.

I don’t have this problem but I’m using Google Chrome anyway. Maybe try a different browser, even if only for ZBrushCentral?

Yes, I think that’s what I’m going to do. I have Chrome, Firefox, Opera and IE9. It did do it a couple of times on Firefox a while back but hasn’t lately. So far, it only does it in IE9 and ZBrushCentral. I suspect it has something to do with Javascript. Thanks.
