Broken viewport draws for long time

Hi fellow Z heads…
Ok iv just watched a video of a guy modelling a character in zbrush R7 on a Mac
and i was shocked. So iv always had a problem with textures ripping and a serious
problem with moving the mesh, say i add a background image, when i use the move tool
part of the background image glitches and goes black. its like some transparency glitch
kicks in. and i have to move the viewport to fix it. moving the view redraws the background image
and fixes it. this makes it hard for me to use background images as refs. now the guy on the mac i noticed
he never once had this issue. iv had it for years. its been a problem for me for ages and i just thought it
was a long time bug in zbrush. So now im thinking i should turn to mac. iv been a pc user for 25 years.
but im willing to switch to a mac if i can have bug free background images. can anybody tell me why the bug does
not happen in ios. Do other people suffer with this problem ? is it just me. and is it with using AMD gfx cards with AMD cpu ?
iv always used AMD. maybe this is causing the problem. does it still happen with intel and nvidia ? can you tell me is there a driver fix for this problem. also when is it going to be fixed ? I can post a pic if you dont know what im talking about. how can i fix it ? cheers guys.

Background image, hmm. How are you doing that? Oh and what version of ZBrush(and OS)?

Hi Doug…
Er im using 4r7p3 and i get the glitch if i use spotlight or image plane, or any other process where a tex/image is used behind the mesh. Iv had the problem since iv been using zbrush. Ill get a pic in a while to show you the problem. It really stops me being able to do portrait work. at least training in that area. i thought eveybody suffered with it. i remember watching a vid where they talked about the issue but let it be as it was a bug that was just part of zbrush. so i never really thought anything of it, bar it really bugs me. But it was a joy to see somebody using transparency on there mesh and not getting the glitch, Here a image showing the problem. now this happens when ever i use move with a background. this is image plane but i get the same issue with spotlight. glitch.jpg
see the black aliased place where the mesh was before i used the move tool. so this is the problem, and its a big one. Cheers Doug.

Zbrush has always had this issue. I do not believe there is a work around other than working additive rather than subtractive.

Beta , do you mean using a image with transparency in front of the mesh rather than behind it ?

Sorry, no I mean when moving the mesh away it should work correctly, adding volume. When moving it inward/toward itself, subtracting volume is when it breaks.
