Hi, I have encounter a problem with my UV. My model look good but the Uv are messed up. any polygon is at another one place. I am not sure what I did wrong, but this post on another forum show it too :

Now i have two question.
Does anyone understand the basics of this problem (I am really not sur that my mesh was at any moment an editable mesh in max so any hypothesis of what i shouldn’t be doing could help)
The second question is how can I fix it? I have a backup of the model with clean UV but a copy paste from uv master didn’t seems to do the trick. Saving the Uv could save my polypaint so redoing the Uv wouldn’t be ideal.
