Anyone remember Bravestarr? The spacecowboy from the animated show in the late 80’s. Anyway, he’s one of my favorite characters, and I have decided to try and make him in Zbrush. I am so VERY new to Zbrush, so there is going to be a LOT af trails and errors - please bare over with me.
I would appreciate it a lot if you have any constructive critisim …

This is the very first step. I build the model from scratch with Zspheres, and it’s only a very rough form so far. I sort of decided not to make any fingers at this point … hopefully I can do that later … somehow!? :wink:

I’m working on the head … it’s obviously not even close yet to the source, but I think I’m slooowly getting there.

And I have worked some more on the body. I decided not to make a “perfect” human anatomy, because it will only be his head that shows, and the rest will be clothed.

Wow…that brings back memories “Eyes of the Hawk!”, lol. Planning on Galtar or the SilverHawks next by any chance? :wink: It’s a good start just remember to try capturing the forms before going into detailing. His face is looking thin in the cheek to eye area compared to the refs. Keep at it.

Thanks for the c&c … Bravestarr the Movie plus 5 episodes have just been released on dvd for the first time, so I’m kinda pysked about it all at the moment - and the rest of the series will be on dvd later this year! Yay!!! :slight_smile:

I tried to do a little rearrenging in his face … don’t know if I made it all worse? I decided to go ahead and do some hair, because it’s kinda hard to picture it’s suppose to be Bravestarr, without all his hair. -I have NO idea how to make his hat!
