Brand New User: Program Doesn't See QuickTime

So, as my title says, I am brand new to ZBrush. I just finished my first sculpt and created a Turn Table movie. Since it’s in .ZMV format, I figured I should probably export it. I go to export it, name the file, then click ‘Save.’ Zbrush gets mad at me and says the equivalent of, “You idiot! You need to have QuickTime for me to do this!”

I’ve now got QuickTime installed (v. 7), but Zbrush keeps telling me that it can’t find the “QTCF.dll” file, that it doesn’t exist. I went spelunking through the QT files and found that it does exist. It then goes on to tell me that it can’t initialize QT.

When I moved the QT folder from Program Files (x86) to Program Files, it seemed to work better: I only got the error message that it couldn’t initialize QT. I later found that I couldn’t open QT in its new location.

I have now uninstalled and reinstalled QT three times, and it won’t let me install to the Program Files folder (it insists on the (x86) folder). I don’t know why ZBrush can’t/won’t see QuickTime. I’m running Win 7 and ZBrush 4R5. I would love any help that anyone could offer.

So, it looks like all I had to do was restart my computer because now QuickTime works with ZBrush. :stuck_out_tongue:
