BPR render gets broken

Hey there!

I don’t seem to find any existing topic related to this case, so I post this as a new one.

I searched through many forums to find anything related to this particular problem but I couldn’t find any so I ask the Pixologic staff and community to help me with this case.

I’m struggling with a recurring problem with BPR rendering. On multiple occasions, when i want some fast HR renders directly from Zbrush, I get broken shaders all over the model’s surface.

I literally tried everything (restart, reset, reinstall nothing worked), I even played with every setting i changed from default and i made the frustrating conclusion that whatever i change from default, for example the document resolution, the BPR render with default render settings gets broken and the only way to make the BPR work properly to leave everything on default and just load the model or do the rendering in a different software which is kinda annoying when I only want to make some WIP renders quickly about my current work.

I’m included the default and the higher resolution render passes where the problem is most visible.

It’s clearly visible, mostly on the hat’s surface but it occurs all over the multiple subtools. I changed nothing but the resolution of the HR render, everything else is on default settings.

I met with this problem 2 or 3 times then after hours of trying I couldn’t resolve it and continued working then after a few days i tried again and it just resolved itself and i don’t know how. I could be let it resolve itself again but when i want to get some renders at an exact time I expect the software to work properly because it is it’s job.

So please if anyone got any experience with such an issue or even have an exact remedy for it, I would really appreciate if you could share it and I apologize for my bad english.
