BORATS ERECTION

I feel very honoured to have made Borats Erection. Bucket list, TICK!

Every year here in Sydney Australia we hold an event called ‘Sculpture by the Sea’. Its a walk across the coastline from Bondi to Bronte showcasing Art sculptures. This year due to the infamous Covid virus events like these were cancelled.

However, Borat does not accept No. He has gifted us with his 6metre sculpture of himself from Kazakhstan flown in by Helicopter over the harbour and landed in Bondi. Feel free to have a look at the footage below.

The model was sculpted by myself in Zbrush. It was outsourced to a local construcion events company (Gorilla Constructions) where they machined him out of polystyrene, built a steel armature, hardcoated him in Epoxy resin then sceniced.
