Booleans and Radial Symmetry

Hi

Just a quick question: is it possible to use Radial Symmetry whilst using (Live) Booleans? I have a ring where I want to make a hole with a shape using Live Boolean, but I also want that hole to appear to the centre-right, the bottom-centre, and the centre-left. Or would I just have to use Mirror and Weld once the first is done?

Thanks

Hello @DustyShinigami ,

You would need to activate Radial Symmetry for an IM brush containing the shape geometry, then split the pieces into a separate subtool with one of the functions in the Subtool> Spit menu. Those meshes can then be used to boolean subtract from the original mesh.
