Body builder study. WIP (nude)

body_build_comp1.jpg Hey guys been way to long since I sculpted a human. This was modeled and rendered solely with ZBrush. It still has a long way to go, (anatomy wise:rolleyes: ) but I just wanted to throw this by you guys and maybe get some 121. I’m am using a modified version of Ed The Atoms skin shader and lighting setup. Here is the link for any interested.

The muscle groups look pretty good, but I reckon putting in the veins & detail so soon was a mistake (depends on how you work really) i usually put the detail in last, the dude has veins but no hands or feet…(nice shader):smiley:

I did not model the hands or feet because they would have just taken up to much RAM (I’m going to divide this guy one more time…he’s currently at 2.2 million polys). And as for the viens, I more or less chicken scratched them in to get an idea of what the final sculpt might look like. I usually don’t work like this, but I have multiple iterations of him and morph targets as well…:wink: so I’m really not to worried about the little bit of time I spent making them…BTW the skin shader looked alot better with them on. Anyhow thanks for the crit.:+1:

Yep I find that the skin shader works a lot better with skin details. I now have three versions of it, but it is still not as I would like. Yours has a good overall skin tones:+1: .
