My year began working on this bust as part of my mentorship with Andrew Ariza who throughout the process inspired me to work on my own design, shared with me a lot of knowledge about sculpture and also, what I consider most important, taught me to see more beyond character design to better understand the harmony between shapes, color and composition.
This is why I feel this project is so special, it’s a great step for me as a professional. Thank you for this journey Andrew, you are an excellent artist and an even better person.
