Boar Rider

Hi everyone!

I’m new here and looking forward to getting involved with the community. I recently promised myself that I needed to be less anxious and start sharing my work more! So here goes

This model is based on the Boar Rider character on the front cover of Adrian Smith’s ‘Illuminations’ art-book. (a great book well worth checking out!)

The project started in early 2014 to develop my knowledge of character creation techniques. I’ve been chipping away at him during what little free time I’ve had since. I finished the project mid-late 2016.
There’s a marmoset viewer with wire-frame and texture breakdowns on my artstation, link in my signature.

The Low poly was created and unwrapped in max, sculpted in zbrush (goes without saying  ) baked in xnormal, textured using substance painter and Photoshop and finally presented in marmoset 2.

I hope you enjoy it!
