Blender Training Videos

Having fun are we with Zbrush?
How about those non organic shapes?

So I have been doing some side projects for future projects think of this series as a possible beta to a new series later on in the year when I get my summer off from work.

I have been thinking this time to those that can’t afford a 300+ dollar program and decided to take on Blender. (eewwww ahhh)

Its been awhile since I worked with Blender on a modeling program standpoint and WOW I couldn’t say enough about how far it has progressed.

So now as I build up lessons for the program I thought I would share with Pixologic. After all Blender and Zbrush can work hand in hand at non-organic and UVW generation.

Maya is still a great program but it doesn’t help those that are just starting out in modeling and cant afford it.

So go to www.blender.org and download blender for free.
and here is the training videos to help you along the way.

3dtotal.com will probably be releasing the High res versions soon for those people outside the US. If not I will be also giving them via Mediafire.com soon enough.

Heres a lesson in mid level modeling in blender where I make a serrated knife. enjoy [veoh]v18150965GwNrG86A[/veoh] [veoh]v18151234PJAPtGnD[/veoh]

“give a kid a gun and he will shoot birds”

Baking shadows using Ambient Occlusion can add some killer detail to your non organic objects with very little work. Find out how it is done in both blender and maya.
