Blend Shapes to 3DS Max?

Is there a way to export blend shapes (and their textures) out to Max for morphing? Or will I have to make duplicates of my mesh, morph each separately and then export them and their maps (each)? Thanks in advance.

The FBX plugin has an option to export Layers as Blend Shapes but it will only export one texture per subtool.

Thanks for the reply, I tried the FBX, but it always shoves out the high poly version of the model. Can I get it to export the lowest subdiv of the model and the textures based on the highest? (I have a feeling I am going to have to do these by hand sigh…) :stuck_out_tongue:

If your model is at its lowest subdivision level then that is what will be exported. But the FBX plugin doesn’t create textures from polypaint, if that’s what you mean. It will export existing textures, one per subtool.

Ah, thanks. That will work too. Thanks!
