Hey all,

Just been working on a big Kitty. I’d like to actually make this panthro from Thundercats… Maybe do a whole Thunder Cats ensamble. It is still very much a work on progress. There is a lot of things I’d like to do, but perhaps you fine artists could share how to add the detail necessary.

I always seem to have troulbe with there the Delts intersect with the Tricepts. How to get it to look fleshy and like they flow over/under eachother. Tips would be great.

You are right Digital_Vulture. My goal in this is to make the Thundercat look more Cat like. Any suggestions to get me closer?

try adding a tail i think it would add a lot to this sculpt and maybe some sharp nails

thunder thunder, thunderrr caaatssss… SNAaaaarrrFFF. SNARf SNArF!! oh oh !!! your model is very nice and muscular, buuuuttt the ears you made are like those kitty cat headbands that little girls wear. the ears in the thundercats poster look more like elf ears. also look how deisel he is… in the pic the bottom of his neck is thicker than his jowels/jaw. i bet they drew his muscles based on arnold back when he was the top of his bodybuilding game. this models going to be so gangster once u put the spiked straps and blue color! dooo it

nice modelling, but i don’t understand why you gave him that cat mouth look…if you look closer to the picture posted above, u’ll notice that they have a normal human face…it’s all in the texture and in the hands.

Poop,

I really would like to maintain more of a Cat like appearance. I don’t want to pay homage necessarily to the Thundercats, but put some of my own flavour on them.

Thanks for the suggesstion. I’ll have to do that in the retopo phase.

You’re crazy (in a good way). You are right though, his ears are kind of cute. I even thought that it could be part of his character. You know… He’s a massive cat, but everyone always makes fun of him because he has adorable ears. Trust me when he gets mean his ears don’t put out any flames of fear! He’s one bad dude!

hehehe … i wish i had cute kitty ears to attract the ladies, and still be that muscular. ide be the mos popular dood on my block… anywayy lol. maybe ill attempt to make a thundercat next week when i purchase lightwave! i cant wait!! then we can have thundercat sculpting duels :slight_smile:

Dude you don’t need lightwave to get started on your own TCat wip. Just use ZSpheres and sculpt it up! I’d love to see what you got to bring to the TCat comeback.
