Not only it’s a bit more vintage (as you mentioned) but more so the angle and where she’s looking at (as oppose to the chess board). I like it

Actually yes, it was the plan all along to make Mr. Shaibel as well, but I had the feeling that I need to post something soon.
So yes it’s very likely Mr. Shaibel is following
