Best workflow to conform character shape to another character shape?

I have a character loaded as a subtool then another character loaded as a second subtool and need to conform the second character shape to the first, I am surprised there doesnt seem to be a “projection brush” where as you paint it would snap the surface of the mesh to the nearest point on the other mesh or something similar. What is the recommended workflow to accomplish this task? Thank you for any help!

There are many projection options in Zbrush, with and without brushes. History Project and History Project Brush for example. Also if the models are low poly you can snap verts from one model to another with Zmodeler point actions.
