Looking for some help and suggestions.
This is my first time using IMM brushes extensively. Usually I sculpt hair by hand out of single mesh blobs, but this time I thought I’d try making it from individual strands of IMM tubes.
I love the look right now, the issue is I need to blend some of the tubes together.
I know I could (in theory) separate every single piece and then merge them together as a Live Boolean mesh, but I don’t think that will give me the workable topography I need to sculpt the strands (adding detail to the larger clumps and blending some, for instance).
I’ve tried dynameshing, zremeshing, projecting, etc… but generally dynamesh destroys the lovely strand details, zremesher likewise mushes things, and projecting gives me tons of those hideous triangular artifacts.
Any suggestions?
