I surfed on the matcap library and some other here on zbrush. Saw alot of cool ones.
So which one do you think is the best for sculpting?

I personally love RS gray clay extreme. its from ralph stumpf?
I’ve tried a couple, and I still find myself going back to the default red wax.

I tried to see the ralph stumpf matcaps but couldn’t find them. I saw that he sells them now on Gnomon. Ah well.

I prefer Argilla. It can be found on in the download center on pixologic.com. It is under the Matte materials…I find them to be the best for basic sculpting as they don’t have a crazy spec value like the redwax does. But it really is up to your personal preference.
I prefer MP_argillaverde. It is similar to the Argilla, but has almost no shine - very matted.
I also prefer the RS Grey Clay Extreme with the cavity detection turned up. As far as free materials go I prefer the matcap MP_Grey06 or the old standby Matcap Greenclay which is seen in use by Ryan Kingslien in many of his videos.

RS Grey Clay Extreme is available here in Ralph Stumpf’s matcap set #02. You get alot of other awesome matcaps in that set, like the Red Chavant and Winston which are also among some of my favorites for straight sculpting.
