I have been messing around with this model for a while now, trying out different techniques and such, and finally decided to just post something. Still have some work to do before I pull together some beauty renders, but here he is, Guts, from the Berserk Manga, in his Berserker Armor.

Had no idea who you were talking about, did a search on the net… wow, very cool what you have done here. Looks exactly like this ‘Berserker Character’ your writting about. Man, must have taken a while to do all that armor. Came out great. On a side note, could he not find a bigger Sword?-

The series is “Berserk”.Lookin good man. I wanna do a hell knight. The recent No Fear post is a obvious homage to guts and amazing as well.
Here’s the model with some window dressing. I rendered out multiple passes (basic, shadow, AO, depth) from Zbrush and comped in Photoshop.
