Bee Kid

Sculpted, rendered, and printed for a birthday present. Took a little longer than I’d planned but, overall, pleased with the final printout and the recipient loved it, which is the most important thing. I was going for a character that looked like she’d be at home starring in a stop-motion animation movie, hopefully, I achieved that.
Could have done a lot more with the textures but it only had to work for the printout and from one angle… I might return to her at some point in the future to tweak the textures and details but done for now.

The motion blur on the rotors is great ! Which render engine did you use ?

Rendered in keyshot. The motion blur was a simple cheat in Photoshop though. I did 2 renders with no changes between the 2 other than one had the rotor blades turned on and a second had the blades tuned off. I layered the 2 images in Photoshop and lowered the opacity of the top image to about 35%, really simple trick that looked pretty effective, I thought.
