Hey all, I would like to share with you this album artwork I did for “Beautiful Noise” by Evolving Sound. This is probably the most detailed sculpting and polypainting I have done in Zbrush. I started with an old base model that had decent topology and sculpted the likeness and the fine details based on a massive library of high detail reference images provided by the client, which was a great help and a time saver when it came to polypainting, which I was able to use to generate some of the skin details. However I had to go back over everything manually adding skin details to tie up the polypaint and sculpt details together.
I used Blender in conjunction with Zbrush to pose the model as well as for generating elements like the hair system, the vines, the flowers, the roots etc. Blender was also used for lighting and rendering and the final composition was done it Photoshop. I hope you enjoy this piece which I had a great time creating.
